Data Analytics Program

In addition to obtaining the ACCA Data Analysis Certification and APEX Data Analytics Certification, I've also enrolled in the rigorous "Generation Data Analytics Program." This comprehensive training program is an 11-week (55-day) full-time course developed by Generation UK in partnership with Microsoft, and it is partially funded by Microsoft and the European Union Social Fund. This program is designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to become proficient Data Analysts.

After an intensive 11-week training period, I've gained the capability to:  

• Drive value for an organization and its clients by having a thorough understanding of data, its purpose, and its usage.

• Design, build, decipher data pipeline to collect, transform, store, and retrieve raw data.

• Apply structured problem-solving techniques to determine solutions.

• Gained new technical skills to improve performance and stay current in the industry.

• Apply testing approach, test case design and execution to ensure data accuracy.

• Conduct data analysis / appropriate visualizations to identify trends and insights from data.

• Effectively communicate data and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

I’ve learn technical skills with extensive hands on experience through interactive sessions. By the end of the programme, I fully understand:

Data quality management:

• Cleaning and processing data through Python Numpy arrays and data frameworks

• Complex database/ view queries using SQL server and PostgreSQL.

Visualisation:

• Professional user driven dashboard and report creation through PowerBI, to present and explain data insights.
